My induction cooker does not heat up.
Only when a pan on a powered cooking zone of the induction cooker sets, there will be heat (directly into the bottom of the pan). The heating element itself is not heated. So when you switch on an area accidentally without a pan on top, then hotplate stays cold. The hob does not respond to swaying objects that do not belong there. The induction cooker heats up quickly and cools again quickly.
